RESIN SPHERE DROP EARRINGS | INTERMEDIATE

4: FINISH OFF THE RESIN

SPHERE Drill a hole in the top of the resin spheres (the side the pouring hole was on the mould). Clean up any sharp or rough edges using the finer abrasive boards such as green, orange and white. Mix the epoxy glue according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Dab a small amount of the glue onto the pin of the cup and push into the drilled hole in the resin. Leave to set.

5: ATTACH THE CHAIN &

EARRINGS Cut the chain to your desired length using side cutters. I used 1.4mm sterling Silver loose oval belcher chain but any other chain of your choice will work, just make sure the jump rings fit through the links of the chain. I used 50mm of chain for each earring.

Open a jump ring using pliers. Carefully put one end of the chain and the loop from one of the earrings on to the open jump ring. Close the jump ring making sure there is no gap. Open another jump ring and put the other end of the chain and the loop from the bead cap onto the jump ring. Close the jump ring.

6: FINISH Attach the scrolls and your project is complete,

I used Silver silicone slider mushrooms.
