PARTNER CONTENT FOR ARETI CAMPING & BUNGALOWS

Areti Camping & Bungalows GREECE

Areti Camping & Bungalows is located in the Sithonia peninsula, in one of the most unspoiled areas of Chalkidiki in northern Greece. It’s a family-owned property that’s been open

for more than 40 years; a special place, set among olive groves, eucalyptus and pine trees where nature and tranquillity coexist. It is just steps away from two beautiful private

beaches where guests can dive into the azure waters of the Mediterranean and sail to the cluster of three small islands known as Spalathronisia. The newly built, contemporary-style bungalows

offer spacious accommodation — each has two bedrooms, living room (including some kitchen facilities) and bathroom, and is equipped with air conditioning and a verandah with garden. The wooden cottages have been built to suit

guests who want to rediscover the beauty of the simple things in life. They’re fitted with first-class facilities to ensure a relaxing stay, including a private verandah. The separate campsite area offers spacious pitches; some are in front of the coastline while

others are among the trees. All are well equipped to ensure guests have a relaxing stay. There’s also the chance to enjoy kayaking, tennis, and volleyball games, or indulge in Mediterranean cuisine in the restaurant. Discover cultural monuments on the peninsula,

such as philosopher Aristotle’s birthplace, Stagira, and the fascinating remains of the ancient city of Olynthus. Visit traditional villages such as Parthenon, Arnaia and Athytos, and drink in the atmosphere that seems almost unchanged throughout the centuries. Explore signed walking tracks, looking out for

the fauna and flora along the way. Taste wine from the excellent local varieties of grapes, and visit the wineries of Porto Carras and Ktima Gerovassiliou. Go to Petralona Cave to see beautiful formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Visitors can also marvel at the evidence of the earliest ancient Greeks, which dates back around 200,000 years. Guests can also rent their own boat, or join in

with a small group and go swimming — or even scuba diving — along the coastline.

Don’t miss The chance to take a relaxing boat trip to see the monasteries along the coast of Mount Athos peninsula
