The Negresco is a privately owned, five-star hotel located in Nice in the South of France, a city known for its pebble beaches and old town narrow streets. The luxurious hotel overlooks the famous Promenade des Anglais, which is one of the most beautiful points of view on the Bay of Angels. The Negresco is more than 100 years old, and
has an impressive collection of art spanning five centuries that can be found all over the hotel, from the corridors to the bedrooms. Each of the 102 rooms and 26 suites have been
furnished with exceptional period furniture, inspired by the most remarkable periods of French art. Whether contemporary, baroque, classic or modern, most rooms have a sea view or overlook the garden, and each follow a unique theme with regards to decoration. To carry on the wishes of Madame Augier, the
hotel’s original owner, every year 10 rooms are completely redesigned. With a nod to the hotel’s Living Heritage Company label (2015), in-house craftsmen work on each room in turn, with the
decision for the theme validated by the general director and head housekeeper. The new rooms have various themes and are all unique, such as ocean, street art, renaissance and contemporary decor. Many of the suppliers the hotel uses are from the Living Heritage Company, which adds a special touch for each room designed. With fresh new family suites, bespoke
decoration and personalisation, the Negresco’s rooms will live up to even the highest expectations of couples, families, business travellers and organisations. The hotel is also widely regarded for its
gourmet cuisine. Guests can choose the restaurant that best suits their taste — there’s the Michelin- starred Chantecler, which is open Thursday evening to Monday evening or Brasserie La Rotonde with its beautiful terrace. Or guests can opt for a more relaxed destination — The Bar, where there’s often live music, a DJ or a pianist. By choosing the Negresco, guests have a
