went through a very complex and messy divorce and she was put into care. Tis dramatically impacted Layla’s mental health. Step by Step initially supported

to offer a safe and


supportive home. Layla’s host and support worker


helped her to gain the everyday skills that most children learn from their parents. Step by Step’s enhanced 18+ Supported Lodgings are funded entirely through donations. Tis meant that Layla was able to stay in her placement beyond her 18th birthday. Tis allowed her to complete her A-levels and ready herself for university. She’s now living in halls, studying

and feeling hugely positive about her future. Every night, the charity provides


a safe home and support for up to 250 young people like Layla across Hampshire, Surrey, West Berkshire, Dorset, West Sussex and Wiltshire. Be part of the journey. Take a stand
