Share your wisdom — shape the future Are you a working professional, phasing into your retirement or retired? Looking for a meaningful way to spend your time?
connect with a young person who is likely to have a very different perspective to you — it’s a way to bridge that divide and to learn first- hand what it’s like growing up today.
How does it work? If you have at least five years’ work experience and you’re working flexible hours, on a career break or retired, you could be a mentor. 1MM is currently looking for people

a new purpose. For example, things that you will have done many times before, a young person might be dealing with for the very first time. Whether it’s with something
practical (like writing an application), thinking through and making career choices or ‘simply’ a conversation with a trusted adult — you can help. It’s not just a one-way street. Being a mentor gives you the chance to
