f Uniworld will be relaunching its Venice-based river ship River Countess as La Venezia following a total overhaul of its decor. The vessel will be cruising new eight- day cruises in and around the city and Po River, which can be paired with two nights in Milan.


f The River Cruise Line is adding Arena to its fleet in April, following a £250,000 refurbishment of its public areas. All cabins on the vessel have French balconies, and there’s a spa with a gym and sauna. Coach, rail and air packages are available, along with new cruise-only options.


f American Queen Steamboat Company is adding a third paddlewheel river boat to its Mississippi fleet. A former casino boat, American Countess will launch in April and will have capacity for 245 passengers.
