Crystal’s President’s Cruises set for Panama and Asia
Crystal Cruises has revealed details of its ‘President’s Cruises’ for 2019 and 2020, which the line’s president and chief executive, Tom Wolber, will host. Wolber will be joined by his wife, Sharon, on the Panama Panorama sailing on December 1, 2019, and Icons of Southeast Asia sailing on December 7, 2020.

Silversea has opened bookings for its 2020-21 programme, featuring new ship Silver Moon, due to launch in autumn 2020, and seven new ports of call. An 11-day Trieste to Rome itinerary, departing August 6, 2020, leads in at £5,220. Bookings made by October 31 qualify for a 10% discount.

Mush, mush! Cunard touts dogsled tours in Alaska
Cunard will offer more than 140 shore excursions when the line returns to Alaska for the first time in 20 years in 2019. Passengers can take a dogsled tour through Alaska or go in search of sea otters on a catamaran when Queen Elizabeth sails four 10-night round-trip voyages from Vancouver. Departures are May 21, May 31, June 10 and June 20.

Shearings Holidays has produced its largest-ever ocean cruise programme in a tie-up with ex-UK specialist Cruise&Maritime Voyages (CMV).
The operator is featuring eight of CMV’s itineraries between December 2018 and August 2019 and will transport passengers by coach to the UK departure ports. A four-day Rouen and Honfleur Christmas Markets sailing,

U by Uniworld has replaced its existing itinerary on the Seine with another itinerary for 2019 and added new shore experiences. The new itinerary, Northern
France at a Glance, will begin and end on Sundays, allowing passengers to spend Friday and Saturday nights in Paris. The eight-day itinerary, on the line’s The B ship, departing

options 18 months ago, but this new programme is our largest-ever and there’s more to come. “Being able to offer ocean cruise options is a natural progression for us. Our river cruise programme is performing well and we always want to ensure we offer our hugely loyal customer new options to try.” Atkins said more cruise line tie-ups would be announced in the coming months.
