Grand UK Holidays has unveiled its new 2019 brochure, with more than 40 new UK and European escorted coach tours aimed at over-55s. New for next year is the five-day


Grand UK Gold tour Sights of the Solent, from £539, including a tour of the Solent, where Henry VIII defeated the Spanish Armada, Portsmouth’s Royal Docklands and the Isle of Wight. A new five-day Trails & Rails


Through Hidden Wales tour, from £399, explores rural mid-Wales. European trips include a


12-day tour featuring Krakow, Poland, and Prague, in the Czech Republic, and a visit to Auschwitz

Prestige Holidays has revealed its first standalone Italy brochure, focusing on Lake Garda, Puglia and Sicily.


It features four new properties


in Sicily, two in Puglia and 11 agritourism ‘rural gems’, and aims to take guests off the tourist track.


Four escorted tours have been


introduced to the operator’s Charming Puglia and Wonders of Sicily ranges. The two new properties in Puglia


are Il Melograno, which features a 17th-century courtyard with ancient olive and pomegranate trees, and agritourism property Masseria Gialli. In Sicily, new properties include 24-room Villa Neri, near Mount
