Tipto has chosen Reuben’s Retreat as its fundraising partner for its 20th-anniversary year. The trade marketing organisation has partnered with
the charity for more than five years, and its suppliers and agents have raised nearly £2,600 in the last 12 months. The money was collected across 30 roadshows and could fund 10 family visits to the Derbyshire retreat. Funds raised will go towards completing the Glossop

Constant Travel plans to recruit 50 homeworkers

A one-branch travel agency plans to set up a 50-strong homeworking division over the next two years.
Constant Travel, in Wakefield,
West Yorkshire, which was set up 14 years ago, launched Personal Holiday Advisors last month. Personal Holiday Advisors’
general manager, Michelle Morley, who joined last month and will recruit the team, said she was ideally looking for homeworkers with a background in travel. Morley said: “We are looking for people who have travel experience, but if they have experience in other areas they would not be discouraged. We want to support people on their homeworking travel journey.” Morley added that an ability
to generate customer leads was essential, so successful applicants needed to be “self-motivated”. Nine Personal Holiday Advisors have been recruited so far since

the homeworking division launched on September 17. She said: “We looked at the
different [homeworker] offerings in the marketplace and felt we could set a new benchmark. “We want to keep it very personal for our homeworkers and customers. If a company gets too big you lose that personal element. “We are initially looking to grow
to 50 homeworkers over the next two years. If you are looking to

provide a personal service to your customers, we will help you.” Morley added that she would
like to take on personal holiday advisors across the country. Homeworkers receive 65%
of commission payments, a free company laptop when they join and no sign-up fees. They are charged a £59 monthly fee to use Personal Holiday Advisors’ booking system, and are Abta and Atol-bonded. New recruits are offered a five-
day training course at the office of Constant Travel, a Freedom Travel Group member, at no cost. Support for homeworkers from

Kosmar agency owner seeks to add shop after site launch
A university graduate plans to open a high street agency in Sheffield under the name Kosmar – a decade after a well-known Greek specialist with the same name collapsed. Jhy Worsnop-Hesford, 24, who
previously worked for Waitrose and British Airways in customer service, saved up for three years to fund the agency. It started taking bookings at
kosmarholidays.co.uk at the start of this month as a member of the Travel Trust Association. “The website nearly crashed
when we launched because so many people logged on,” said Worsnop-Hesford, who didn’t know the former Kosmar brand and came up with the nameafter fusing the names of two destinations –Kos and Marbella. He hopes to have five
homeworkers by the end of 2018 and open an agency in Sheffield with around five staff by mid-2019. He also wants to build on the “cultural change on the high street” of people shopping at local businesses. Tour operator Kosmar Villa
