SHENIKA BENNETT, Jamaica Tourist Board

Q. The Northern Ball is the biggest travel trade party of the year. Tell us why you’re a headline sponsor. Shenika: We have been a sponsor of the Travel Weekly Northern Ball previously and found the experience so successful that we wanted to raise the bar and be a headline sponsor. The Jamaica Tourist Board is committed to building continued relationships with you, our travel trade partners, and we want to show our support for your commitment to selling Jamaica over the years. Q. What are your current big product focuses? Shenika: The best way to sell a holiday is to experience it yourself. We encourage agents to sign up to our “Sell It and See It” fam trips to Jamaica on Jamaicarewards.co.uk. Each year we take more than 40 agents to Jamaica to visit our attractions and to experience true Jamaican hospitality first hand. Quality of service is our top priority so we have created our Jamaica Luxury cluster of hotels and work closely with agents so they can meet their clients’ expectations.

Q. What are you doing to support your agent partners? Shenika: We are hosting a series of roadshows throughout the
