Icon of the Seas to operate ex-Miami Caribbean sailings

Royal Caribbean’s forthcoming new ship Icon of the Seas will operate seven-night Caribbean sailings year-round from Miami. Every cruise on the


7,600-passenger vessel will include a visit to the line’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, in the Bahamas. Prices for the seven-night


Western Caribbean & Perfect Day voyage, departing on September 28, 2024, start at £983. Ports of call include Roatan, in


Honduras, and Puerto Costa Maya and Cozumel, in Mexico. The Eastern Caribbean &


Perfect Day sailing includes stop- offs in St Kitts and St Thomas. Prices lead in at £990, based on a September 7, 2024, departure. Launching in January 2024,


Icon will feature 28 cabin classes, including 14 new-to-brand options. The line said every cabin type

View Interior cabins, Balcony Cabins and suites, which all sleep up to four passengers. At the front of the ship, another


new neighbourhood, AquaDome, is home to Panoramic Oceanview cabins and suites. Both types of accommodation feature wall-to-


wall and floor-to-ceiling windows. Icon will offer 15 restaurants,
