IGNITE Following successful application, Supervi- sors can join the seven-month Ignite training programme, a comprehensive introduction to leadership which includes classroom- based learning, a coach from the wider Splen- did Family and requires a final presentation by the participant.
INSPIRE
The 12-18 month Inspire programme is for middle Managers. Participants are assigned a mentor and achieve a level four hospitality management qualification.

joining Splendid as a Receptionist at Holiday Inn Express, York East, in 2014. Today, she aspires to become an industry influencer and present TEDTalks on learning and development, largely thanks to the progressive opportunities at Splendid. She joined Hotel Indigo York in April
WELLNESS The Splendid People Team proactively promotes wellness and mental health awareness to encour- age all Family Members to achieve a healthy bal- ance in their lives. During Splendid Wellness Week, packs are sent to each hotel with postcards and posters recommending healthy eating, sim- ple exercise, meditation apps and money-saving websites and so on, to boost mental wellness. Wellness Week has inspired one Family Member to create a video to enhance the message and this year different hashtags were used for each day of the week – #mind, #move, #munch, #moment and #money – to increase awareness.

2017 as Assistant Guest Relations Manager and, in less than 18 months, she has been promoted twice, including to her current role of Guest Relations and Front Office Manager. Leanne has just completed the Splendid Hospitality Ignite training programme, which has developed her leadership skills, expanded her network of equally passionate aspiring leaders and provided her with sharp insight into the commercial side of the business. She feels exceptionally lucky knowing that she can speak to anyone in the Splendid Family for support. Leanne has just been accepted onto the
