e believe great food is created from the best ingredients, crafted by talented people. From street food pop-ups, nutritious deli bars to live theatre cooking, our people are proud of what we do. We don’t offer jobs – we offer career oppor- tunities across a wide range of roles: manage- ment, health and safety, sustainability and people development. Offering generous ben- efits and a flexible work-life balance, we also have far-reaching development opportunities within our award-winning training academies. As well as a love for fresh food, we love cof-

fee. We created a dedicated training space for our Barista Academy to develop our baristas in mak- ing beautiful coffee. Our commitment to train- ing has not only led to serving great quality coffee to our customers, but placed our baristas in the highest tier of coffee specialists within the UK. Our chef teams create delicious food from locally sourced ingredients. More than 500 stu- dents have graduated from our Chef Academy with specialist qualifications, including NVQ3, apprenticeships and Culinary Arts BSc. The acad- emy develops leadership techniques, culinary tal- ent, creative thinking and nutrition knowledge. We do things differently. With a passion

for Goan-inspired cooking, our chef Platini Mascarenhas created an Indian-inspired food pop-up, with vibrant curries and street food snacks. We loved it so much, we rolled it out across the business, taking customers on a regional food tour of India. Want to be a part of the BaxterStorey family? We’d love to hear from you!

CASE STUDY

“I have been with BaxterStorey for four years and what a journey it’s been! During my degree, I undertook a placement with the company, where I quickly realised I had a real passion for the industry. “Not one to shy away from a challenge, my first management

role was on the graduate programme, mobilising a location and managing a team of 28. I then took the position of catering manager at RocketSpace’s London Islington campus, which was a real development opportunity. I built up a team of seven, re-designed the hospitality menu and learned how to lead a team forward to deliver great food and excellent service. “My latest adventure is ‘The Canteen’, a new restaurant and

coffee bar. From serving espresso martinis on Thirsty Thursdays to guest appearances from rapper Big Narstie and hosting a wrestling ring in the middle of the restaurant, we do it all!”
