The Aspire team has been busy delivering two overseas Retreats in Montenegro and the

Turks and Caicos Islands – both of which were

attended by a brilliant group of luxury agents and suppliers.

I had an incredible day running the Berlin Marathon in September. I’d never visited the city before so it was an amazing way to see the sights, and I managed to set a new personal best!

Charlotte Brook

I soaked up some winter sun during a fam trip to the Caribbean island of Nevis where we visited some stunning properties, took part in an authentic cooking class and sampled a rum punch or two!

I always feel such pride when hosting our annual Aspire Awards, and this year was no different. Seeing so many familiar, smiling faces leaves me feeling incredibly proud of the community we’ve created. Winner or not on the night, everyone was so supportive of their peers and clearly wanted to celebrate the sector’s successes. It may feel a little strange to call our community a family, but

it really does feel like that. And I was thrilled when the lovely Sandra Mutter and Dave Allen from Andara Travel recently told me they’d had exactly the same feeling when they entered Kimpton Clocktower Hotel for the awards in October. Every person in the room (and those who attend all of our

events throughout the year) is so vital in creating that warm, friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re a sponsor, a guest, an agent or a supplier, we truly value your support in making Aspire what it is. To see more coverage from the Aspire Awards, head to page 8, and you can check out more of our regional events from page 100 onwards. And while we’re on the topic of families, those who weren’t at

the awards or don’t follow me on social media, may not know that I am expecting my second child – a little girl due in March next year. But you won’t get rid of me that easily; I’ll be around up until my due date and look forward to seeing as many of my Aspire family as possible before I go on maternity leave.
