B Read the passage and circle the adjectives. The young Arctic explorer jumped suddenly to her feet. She quickly peered through her black binoculars again. She waved frantically to her bewildered colleague. He trudged through the heavy, white snow towards her. ‘Look, it’s a massive white bear,’ said the thrilled explorer. He took his binoculars and peered into the sparkling distance. He could see the white, furry, stocky polar bear. ‘Wow!’ said the explorer in awe. ‘This is the most magnificent experience!’
