FESTIVALS & REGATTAS


Whether it’s dancing on the beach, stroking an award-winning Devonshire bull, watching a military air display or eating local crab by the water, there’s an event to suit everyone in this part of Devon (see p 68-69). There are more than 20 shows and festivals planned in 2022 and, with the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Dartmouth has a busy year ahead. Dartmouth Regatta is still the jewel in the crown attracting thousands from near and far whilst music lovers await the 25th Dart Music Festival with the promise of a buzzing May weekend full of sounds and song. South Devon is brimming with the best food, music and even pirates so watch out for a year of exciting events.
