The Flavel is the arts and entertainment centre of Dartmouth as well as a registered charity, funded entirely from ticket sales and donations by individuals and local organisations.
We have entertainment every day, from film and live events to comedy and classical concerts. Our eclectic programme is very popular with visitors and residents of all ages - we have a kids film club every Saturday, suitable for the whole family as

well as a fabulous selection of children’s school holiday workshops which range from breakdancing to circus skills to arts and crafts and theatre.
The Flavel is a fully accessible building looked after by friendly staff and volunteers. There is free Wi-fi throughout the building as well as a cosy bar which is open before film screenings and events in the main auditorium. We also have a wonderful ground floor café and we are home to the Dartmouth Library.
The Flavel is open Monday to Saturday and the Box Office is staffed from 9.30am until the day’s final performance.

The Flavel is located in Flavel Place in the centre of Dartmouth, with a convenient car park close by. There is also a regular bus service from nearby towns Totnes and Kingsbridge.
