Dartmouth Food Festival - 2021 Eating at the Festival - Highlights


As well as great food in the exhibitor marquees many restaurants, cafes, delis and pubs will be running special events and menus too so keep a look out on our website (www.dartmouthfoodfestival.com/events) and around town. Highlights over the weekend include:


Thursday 21st October CHILDREN’S TEA PARTY Pop into the Flavel Church to sample a selection of delicious food and drink from some of our lovely local suppliers and restaurants. Open to all young people who may bring a responsible adult!


Friday 22nd October DINING AT THE SEAHORSE Mitch Tonks’ Seahorse restaurant on the Embankment will be running guest chef events from award-winning national chefs all through the weekend. Details of the events can be found at www. seahorserestaurant.co.uk but get in quick as they sell out fast!


Saturday 23rd October CHEESE TASTING IN THE COMMUNITY CAFÉ, MARKET SQUARE Shane Holand is a wonderful cheese expert who will walk you through a selection of wonderful cheeses, supplied by Heritage Cheese, talking about the types of milk used, production tech- niques, and variety in tastes. £12.50 Tickets available via www. dartmouthfoodfestival.com

Monday 25th October On the Monday after this year’s Dartmouth Food Festival we will be hosting a free Community Lunch in the Community Cafe us- ing up all the surplus produce from the event. The seats will be offered to various community groups first, eg Dartmouth Caring, but do watch out for social media alerts for information about spare places on the morning of the 25th


October.
