erenity Stays was founded by Claire O’Brien and Halina Williams in 2020. The girls met when Halina started working for WHK Services in 2015, the sister cleaning and property management company owned by Claire for the last 18 years. Halina thought she arrived at work to help with some cleaning but immediately started working in the office and never left her desk. Claire and Halina hit it off from day one and vowed one day they would join forces and run a business together.
With over 30 years of experience between them in the tourist industry the girls identified a gap in the market to run a holiday lettings company alongside WHK Services that focuses on a very hands-on approach and tailor-made letting service for guest and owners.
Serenity Stays is just about to launch its new website. Owners Claire and Halina’s experience, proven customer care and local knowledge has ensured the website is a one stop shop for everyone who visits the site offering a reliable source of information on where to eat, what to do and how to make their stay unforgettable.
Each property in the Serenity portfolio is personally visited by Claire and Halina. They are both heavily involved day to day in running the business and ensuring they are in touch with the guests and owners. Their mission is to build a portfolio of the best holiday homes within Devon. They work on a personal level with the owners to ensure their properties are the ultimate Devon holiday experience, delivering the highest level of service and standards.
From marketing and promotion to managing bookings and payments, to delivering a comprehensive property management service includ- ing out-of-hours emergency cover, they’ll provide all the care your guests need so you don’t have to.
Serenity Stays offers three packages.
• A full property management and holiday booking service including hosting and marketing of your property, managing bookings, fully managed coordination of cleaning services, out of hours emergency call outs to give owners peace of mind 24/7 that their guests are in safe hands. Commission is charged at 18% – some additional costs apply.
• Managing your property out of hours: For those owners who pre- fer to manage their weekly cleaning direct with a cleaner. Providing out of hours support for guests and any emergencies that may arise during their stay. Hosting & marketing of your property, managing bookings. Commission is charged at 15% – some additional costs apply.
• Hosting only: Commission is charged at 10% .
The new website –
www.serenitystays.co.uk – has already started taking bookings. An extensive and efficient SEO campaign is driving many holiday makers to the site and a new member of staff, Jess Martin, will be the driving force behind advertising and marketing homeowners’ properties.
Property Affiliation - Whether you’re a campsite, an independent rental agent or an owner of holiday home based in South Devon, you can earn revenue by subscribing to their affiliation package and list your property description, photographs and a direct link to your chosen booking platform on their website. They’ll promote, market and use their social media platforms to showcase your property. Take advantage of their experience in holiday property management
and its marketing. The annual fee is £149.00. Guests also get the added bonus of all the information and guides to ensure their stay is unforgettable and stress free.
