At the end of Monday’s presentations, we were taken by coach to the Codorniu winery where we enjoyed the opportunity of a journey through the vast and deep, labyrinthine cava cellars. This was followed by cocktails on a warm and sunny patio while we were entertained by Spanish dancers. The Gala Dinner and entertainment lived up to expectations with people dancing well into the night.
On the Tuesday, further papers came from, to name a few: Ruiming ‘Ray’ Zhang and David DeVore. There is just not enough space to list all presenters and papers.
Terry asked us to make a note in our diaries for the 17th to 19th November 2015, as they will be holding ‘ELGI Week’ in Amsterdam, where they will be offering: a) Working Group meetings; b) ELGI/ICIS Food Grade Lubricants Conference; c) ELGI/ICIS Industrial Lubricants Conference; and d) a Grease Evaluation course.
After Terry’s opening address, for me, was one of the most exciting parts of the ELGI AGM. The chairman from each WG described the findings from their individual working group. These reports provided breaking news, ie the latest discoveries on the specific WG topics. Spine tinglingly exciting. The working groups are looking for more active members, so please get in touch with Constantin Madius

axelch.com. See more about these WGs on page 62.
For me it has been a pleasure attending the 27th ELGI AGM. Seeing the dedicated working group members as well as clear and compelling presentations, this is a ‘must not miss’ event.
A note for your diaries: The 28th ELGI AGM is 16-19 April 2016 and will be held at the Hilton Molino Stucky in Venice. The theme is ‘Sustainability’. Do contact Carol Koopman

The AGM continued with papers from Johan Leckner and Gareth Fish, who won the Best Paper Award. His article can be found starting on page 12 of this edition of Lube Magazine. More presentations followed.
