Revised REACH Annex II handbook is now available to pre-order
Adding to the extended range of handy to use A5 handbooks – which have covered CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging), Biocidal Products Regulation and Detergents Regulation (No. 648/2004) – Safeware Quasar now presents the revised SDS requirements (REACH Annex II) Commission Regulation (No. 2015/830) of 28th May 2015.
Safety data sheets (SDS) are the main tool for suppliers to communicate information down the supply chain, ensuring the safe use of their substances and mixtures. The mandatory content requirements are specified in Annex II of REACH, which has been revised several times during the transition from CHIP (Chemical Hazards and Information for Packaging) and DSD/ DPD (Dangerous Substances/Preparations Directives) to the new CLP Regulations.
This new regulation incorporated into the handbook provides:
• Mandatory content for the SDS in a single Annex
• A dedicated CLP interpretation of the SDS requirements
• Clarity on the new requirements for SDS’s post June 2015 deadline
• Transition requirements and new mandatory deadlines
