Interlube Systems Ltd in Plymouth UK was established just over 89 years ago, and specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of all types of industrial and commercial lubricating equipment and systems.
Many years in this specific market has meant that over time the company has assembled a vast amount of knowledge in the requirements of the many and complex lubrication applications. Interlube’s unique and quality products now help keep trucks, buses, trailers, cranes, quarries and heavy-duty production lines moving reliably 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Wherever there is a critical need to keep mechanical components accurately lubricated – working at their optimum – Interlube Systems supplies the ideal solution.
With three facilities, one in Plymouth (UK), Asia and Dayton Ohio (USA) the company offers a truly global service to their ever growing customer base. Interlube’s established distributor network and experienced sales force around the world provide a full pre and post sales service, including dedicated trained instal- lation engineers who both install and provide after sales maintenance as required by the customer.
Interlube’s technical engineering team can also assist customers in designing bespoke greasing systems and equipment meeting exact specifications; alternatively the company can provide standard product elements, satisfying most mechanical lubrication problems and lead times are measured in hours and days, rather than weeks and months.
Quality control
Design engineering capabilities include: the provision of full environmental testing; vibration testing; and full EMC compatibility. All products are designed on 3D CAD systems. Interlube offers the facility of electronic data interchange with their customer base. All Interlube products are designed to meet the most stringent international environmental conditions.
In the last two years Interlube has been responsible for the design, manufacture and introduction of some spectacular innovative industrial greasing equipment. All the products have been well tried and tested and the results have shown spectacular improvements in efficiency and life retention of the moving parts lubricated by their equipment.
The Interlube HDI Range of Grease Pumps The revolutionary Interlube HDI Range of grease pumps, when used in association with progressive divider valves, ensures that lubrication is consistently and efficiently delivered to bearings and pins. This HDI Range of pumps is available with 3, 6, 9 or 15 litre reservoirs. The HDI Range of pumps is suitable for all quality of grease up to NGLI 2 viscosity. The unit can generate up to 350-bar pressure, adequate to overcome resistance caused by unusually tight bearings!
The HDI Range incorporates a 24v. DC Controller, with adjustable ‘run’ and ‘dwell’ settings, which includes a remote alarm and low-level indicator. The pump has a manual override, which can be fitted remote to the unit (e.g. driver’s cab or control room).
