Mineralöl-Raffinerie Dollbergen GmbH: Sigrid Küchmeister new Sales & Marketing Manager

As of 1 April 2011, there is a new face at the helm of the Mineralöl-Raffinerie Dollbergen GmbH (MRD) Marketing & Sales department. Sigrid Küchmeister (45) will be applying her many years of experience and internationally gained practical knowledge to meeting customer-oriented market development targets, reporting directly to managing director Bernd Merle.

Merle views Sigrid Küchmeister's extensive experience as an important building block in the company's development plans: “We will be reviewing our distribution in a great number of markets, and adapt our marketing accordingly. Our strategy – innovation and sustainability – and the department's reposi- tioning in the company structure will help us to realise our ambitious growth targets faster.

We are pleased that with Sigrid Küchmeister, we were able to win an excellent expert to meet this challenge. With her on board, we will strengthen our market position, and extend it even further.”

Sigrid Küchmeister agrees that the future looks good for the Mineralöl- Raffinerie Dollbergen, particularly due to its position as a leading innovator in the markets: “With its first-class, top- quality eco-lubricants and a practically unique value creation chain, the company is in a very good position. The products’ image and the convincing processes offered by the company are excellent. Focusing more strongly on marketing and distribution therefore offers a major potential for extending the worldwide market share even further in the markets that are most important for us.”
