EVENTS Annual Dinner 2022
The highlight of the industry calendar is the UKLA Annual Dinner, and once again in November the industry assembled at 8 Northumberland Avenue, wearing their finest attire and walked the red carpet! A truly global event with guests from all continents, the industry came together to enjoy some fine food, fabulous entertainment and great company.
Following a pre-dinner reception where they could catch-up with old friends and associates, our guests ushered into the ballroom for the main event. David Hopkinson, President of headline sponsor Multisol, began proceedings with grace, after which guests were entertained by magicians and mind-readers whilst enjoying a veritable feast. How quickly time flies by when you are revelling in good conversation! How delicious was our dinner? Whether you were enjoying the monkfish and lamb or the vegetarian option of Beetroot & Feta tart and Cottage pie, it was all simply sumptuous (and we at UKLA would like to commend the catering & waiting team at the venue, who did a sterling job).
Soon it was time for the UKLA Director General David Wright to take to the stage to introduce UKLA President Andrew Goddard (Morris Lubricants), who gave a reflective speech on the issues that have faced the industry in 2022 and how we face more changes and challenges over the coming months and years.
David and Andrew then went on to present the highly coveted Annual Awards to this year’s very worthy winners...
