Young Employee


The hunt is on once again for the UKLA Young Employee of the Year. This Award, sponsored by IMCD, which will be presented at the UKLA Annual Dinner in London, in November, recognises the new generation of outstanding talent in our sector and the contribution they make to their company, their team and their own professional development.

Criteria


The nominee demonstrates a significant and sustainable contribution to their organisation, their team in which they work, and their own performance in line with the organisation’s stated business objectives.


The nominee demonstrates a level of commitment to the objectives of the organisation above and beyond that which would normally be expected of an individual working at their level.


The nominee demonstrates responsibility for their actions and the actions of those working around them as they contribute to their own area of responsibility. The nominee demonstrates responsibility for their own professional development in line with the organisation’s performance management process.


Eligibility • A current employee of a UKLA member company.


• Under 30 years of age at the time of the nomination. • Having not previously received the award.


• Worked in their organisation for a minimum of twelve months.


• Employees of UKLA, their family and relations are ineligible to enter.


• The nomination period which runs from 1st July in the previous year to 30th June in the current year.


• No correspondence regarding the winner or nominations will be entered into by the judges.


• The decision of the judges is final and binding.


To enter, submit a nomination to secretariat@ukla.org. uk by 31st August 2018 of no more than 1,000 words detailing the achievements of the individual who will be judged against the above criteria. Include details of the nominee’s company, the nominee (their name and role) as well as the proposer’s name, role and company.
