This year for the first time ever Morris Lubricants have appointed a female racing ambassador, Rebecca Jackson. Rebecca will be competing in the FIA Electric Production Car Series this year and is excited to welcome on board Morris Lubricants. Morris will start by supporting Rebecca during her season in the Tesla Model S P100D.

Rebecca is very excited about this partnership and is looking forward to the first race in France. She says: “I’m so pleased to have Morris Lubricants on board as they’ve been supporting British

motorsport for a number of years. I’ve got no doubt we’re going to do fantastic things together.”

Gina Hinde, marketing manager at Morris Lubricants, is pleased to have Rebecca on board. She says: “We see Rebecca as a fantastic ambassador for Morris Lubricants. 2018 is definitely going to be a strong year for women, which will bring significant step-changes towards equality and we hope that motorsport will follow this progression. Rebecca has proved herself as a very talented driver and that she can mix it up with the best of them.

“She is not only a great ambassador for the company but for people of all backgrounds in motorsport.”

SIP celebrate 30th anniversary

On the day of SIP’s prestigious 30th anniversary dinner, SIP was presented with a plaque celebrating 10 years of customer loyalty, from its storage partner, ADPO N.V. This was presented to Peter Hollister, SIP Operations Manager, by Guy Lens, Commercial Manager and Hans Jodlowski, Tank Terminal Manager at ADPO.

“Having consolidated our storage in ADPO in order to provide best in service logistics to our customers, we have built a strong partnership with ADPO, who understand our business and the volatile nature of the markets we work in.” said Peter Hollister.“As SIP has grown and diversified its activities, it has found a partner with the expertise to facilitate this.”

SIP’s flexibility and “can do” approach to business is predicated on ADPO’s ability to support and mirror this in their operations, which they are able to do with their integrated terminal model. As Guy Lens explained,“ SIP is a key customer for ADPO, utilising all the services of our integrated terminal model such as tank storage, warehousing and drumming, full ISO container logistics and transport. This model, in

combination with a tailor-made, automated in-line blending concept, has been the keystone to our 10 year successful partnership, as well as helping SIP to save on logistic costs and strengthen their competitive market position.”
