Awards is the biggest and best awards event in the industry and while 2021 marks its 27th year, it has never seen anything quite like this before. Skills, experience and knowledge


have all been tested to their limits and all the finalists unveiled here in this rundown have shown their peers and their potential clients just what they’re made of.


They’ve demonstrated just what


they’ve learned, what they’re proud of, and what they think defi nes success in an age where all defi nitions are being rewritten and reimagined.


There are some phenomenal designs, of course, but also some inspiring stories of survival and, yes, growth in this shortlist and you can fi nd all the detail at the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2021 website.


But one thing that has come through


very clearly in the hundreds and hundreds of entries we received this year is the pride, passion and perseverance of an industry that has experienced crushing lows


and wildly unexpected highs


throughout 2020. Hopefully, we will never need to experience such a ride again but there is some comfort in knowing that, collectively, the KBB industry has proved it can not just hold on and survive but even thrive and come out stronger. And the kbbreview Retail & Design 2021 is about celebrating that
