CELEBRATING 21 YEARS OF KBB INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Larks Trade owners and brothers, Michael & Steven Larkin, reflect on the last 21 years, share some of their experiences, and highlight the strengths that have helped them become one of the leading kitchen and bedroom furniture manufacturers in the UK.

Larks Trade was established in 2003 by two brothers, Steven and Michael Larkin. 2024 marks a special anniversary for the owners and brothers, who are celebrating 21 years in the KBB industry.

Starting their careers as carpenter joiners, the brothers moved into kitchen and bedroom fitting, before opening their own retail showroom in 2003, which grew to be highly successful for over 7 years.

Whilst on this journey, Michael and Steven realised the downfall in the supply chain. They decided to take a huge step into manufacturing for themselves, which enabled them to capitalise on key requirements missing from the industry and start supplying to trade customers across the UK.

This broad industry background gives Larks Trade a unique understanding of their customers’ requirements and expectations. This allows them to deliver the highest-quality products with outstanding service.

Larks Trade is proud to be a modern kitchen and bedroom furniture manufacturer operating from a new state-of-the-art factory in the heart of Birmingham, an ideal location for distribution throughout the UK. The Larkin brothers have invested in the latest

CNC machinery and optimizing software, as well as the best zero glue-line edge banders in Europe. This allows Larks Trade to achieve and maintain one of the finest finishes in the sector.

Customer service is key to Larks Trade’s operation, operating within tightly set time schedules, answering all customer queries and processing quotes and orders all from their purposely designed office. From ordering to production to delivery, Larks Trade uses advanced technology to ensure they always provide fantastic customer service.

Larks Trade consistently offers and delivers on a 7-10 order lead time for all products. The team are very proud that they continued to work to achieve these impressive lead times throughout the extremely busy and unprecedented COVID pandemic.

Larks Trade is delighted to be able to offer their customers a state-of-the-art online portal – a single place for ordering bespoke kitchen and bedroom furniture, checking live order statuses, invoices and up-to-date account information. All available 24 hours a day! They believe that this asset is unique in the bespoke kitchen and bedroom furniture industry and is another testament to their vision and determination to deliver the best possible service to their highly valued customers.

Larks Trade is excited to be exhibiting at 2024 KBB and would love to personally welcome you to their stand J78 at the KBB Birmingham NEC on 3rd - 6th March.
