HSK SCOTT BOWER
German shower enclosure manufacturer HSK has named its new UK & ROI business manager. Former KBB retailer Scott Bower will be filling the role, with HSK saying his prior 30 years of retail experience enables him to bring a unique perspective to the role. Having amassed a wealth of contacts during his retail career, his new position will see Bower working closely with HSK’s new and existing retail partners in the hope of developing the business. Stepping into the new role, Bower says he also plans to introduce a wider range of products to the UK market throughout 2024, further increasing the company’s portfolio of shower doors, enclosures and panels.

LAMINAM LEANNE O’CONNOR
Porcelain surface manufacturer Laminam UK has appointed Leanne O’Connor to be its new senior area manager for retail in the Northwest. O’Connor joins Laminam from Natural Stone Surfaces Ltd, where she worked as its national sales manager. Prior to that, she has also held roles at Caesarstone, Shaw Stone Surfaces and Cosentino. Laminam UK says that the experience gained in these roles helped hone O’Connor’s skills in sales, management and business development, which make her perfectly suited for the new role. Laminam UK’s managing director, Gavin Shaw, said he is excited to have O’Connor join the team.
VADO STUART SEABURY
Vado has appointed Stuart Seabury as its new human resources director. He originally started at the company in September, in a role which was originally intended to be in an interim capacity. However, he will be remaining at the company full-time as Vado continues to prioritise its workforce. Seabury has had a 15-year career in the human resources industry, having previously worked as a senior HR business partner at Kohler Mira. Vado’s managing director, Andy Baines, commented: “We are delighted that with this appointment brings us an opportunity to continue to prioritise our people as a key and central part of our business strategy.”
SANIPEX LEE PALMER
Sanipex Group has announced it will have a new sales director for the UK and Ireland from March onwards, with ex-Vado director Lee Palmer set to fill the role. Palmer worked for Vado for the past 17 years, with five of those spent in the position of sales director. Sanipex says that his expertise in the specification sector will help him focus on the growth of the group’s Bagno Design brand. Palmer will also focus on growing the company’s sales through a selected network of contract merchants and committed retail partners. Daryl Barker, Group chief officer at Sanipex, said Palmer’s appointment comes at an exciting time for the brand.

CYNCLY JULIEN FAURE
Software provider Cyncly has appointed Julien Faure as its new chief product officer. His primary responsibility in the role will be to support Cyncly’s product management, strategy, and design efforts, as the company grows. With a strong background in product

Kudos Showering Solutions has expanded its sales team further, with Simon Tate appointed to be its new area sales manager for the Midslands and the Southwest. Tate reportedly has a wealth of experience in
