NEWS | Round-up People CRL STONE JORDAN BORROW


Covering the North West of the UK, CRL Stone has appointed Jordan Borrow to be its latest sales representative. Going forwards, Borrow will be responsible for business development and relationship building with kitchen and bathroom showrooms in the region, as well as building brand awareness for CRL Stone. Borrow brings both local and industry knowledge to the role, having previously worked with a stone fabricator in the area for several years. Commenting on his role, Borrow said: “I’m looking forward to a new challenge, supporting our current customers as well as bringing in new business and helping to grow the CRL Stone brand.”


Here’s a look at this month’s KBB appointments


CAESARSTONE MAJID KHAN


Surface supplier Caesarstone has appointed Majid Khan as its new head of retail and trade chains for the UK and ROI. Starting the role with over two decades of sales leadership experience behind him, Khan spent over 16 years in the builders’ merchant industry. He joins Caesarstone from Jewson, where he was head of sales for small and regional house builders and developers. Prior to that, he was also a regional sales director for Gibbs & Dandy. Caesarstone believes that his understanding of the industry landscape, as well as his unique approach to sales management, will help the brand further strengthen its position within the surface market.


NOVY


BETSI FUENMAYOR


Middleby Residential UK has appointed Betsi Fuenmayor as the new business development manager for its Novy brand. Her role includes telesales support and relationship management for existing Novy accounts, as well as developing new business for the brand. Based at the company’s offices in Shropshire, Fuenmayor will report directly to Jenny Hyatt, Middleby’s sales and marketing director.


Originally from Venezuela, Fuenmayor has


lived in the UK since 2017, and since then has worked in sales development, service and brand marketing roles. She has an MBA in international business and marketing.


LOCHANNA KITCHENS GRAHAM JONES


LochAnna Kitchens has named Graham Jones as its new head of sales, which will see him directing the brand’s sales strategy across the whole of the UK. According to the company, Jones has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge over his 30 years in the KBB industry. Prior to joiningLochAnna, he worked with companies such as Sigma 3 Kitchens, Smallbone and Mereway. Jones commented: “It’s an incredibly exciting moment to join LochAnna, and I’m genuinely thrilled to build upon the brand’s already rich legacy, especially as we approach the significant milestone of 10 years in business.”

Wright’s finance career until this point has included roles at companies such as NRS Healthcare and EasyJet.


Sinks, taps and accessories specialist The 1810 Company/Schock UK has appointed Steve Rollinson to be its new head of contracts division. The supplier says that Rollinson has over 15 years of experience in the KBB sector, as well as a proven track record of professional service in the housebuilding sector. Dean Williams, managing director of The 1810 Company/ Schock UK, said: “We are delighted to welcome Steve to the team. His extensive knowledge of the industry will prove to be invaluable as we strive to achieve further success within the contract sector. We will all work hard to support his efforts in his new position.”
