What’s making a splash in the market Compiled by: Vicki Evans

CRL STONE | Shower enclosures

CRL Stone has stepped into the retail shower market by offering tailor-made glass, hardware and large- format shower solutions. The offering was previously only available for hotel groups and premium develop- ments, but now retailers can also have CRL Stone showers and wet rooms. In addition, the brand is offering options for a fully bespoke shower screen so, it says, that there is a solution for any bathroom. Tel: 01706 863600 www.crlbespokeshowerscreens.co.uk

RAK CERAMICS | Rak-Petit

Rak Ceramics has extended its Rak-Petit range to include more luxury and compact bathrooms. Two new basins can be used as a stylish focal point in the bathroom. The countertop washbasins are 340mm tall and can be mounted on a vanity unit. There are two options, square or rounded, available in high- quality white ceramic. The new basins are based on the existing floorstanding models in the collection. 01730 237850 www.rakceramics.com/uk

SCUDO | Alfie and Aubrey

Scudo, owned by Harrison Bathrooms, has unveiled the new Alfie and Aubrey furniture collections. The vanity units are created as a focal point of the bathroom and have surface-mounted basins. Alife, which is pictured, has retro styling with grooved panels and a push-to-open mechanism. Aubrey is more colourful and has the choice of three finishes and three coloured handle options. ARMERA | No tap hole basin

Most wall-mounted basin taps need to be paired with a washbasin that sits on top of a vanity unit or countertop, but Armera has designed a new no-tap- hole basin that is mounted in-cabinet. The product answers what Armera saw as the need for a different solution. The sizes available are 600mm and 800mm in width. The slim profile of the in-cabinet basins is said to give a contemporary look to vanity units. Tel: 01225 251204 www.armera.co.uk

UTOPIA | Solid worktops

Utopia has expanded its worktop collection for its vanity units. The 20mm solid surface collection has four new additions to the portfolio. Pictured is Tempest Black, and there are two other marble-vein finishes called Imperial White and Palladian Grey. There is also a Metropolitan Grey – a granite-effect worktop that is said to mimic natural stone but with the convenience of man-made material. Tel: 01902 406402 www.utopiagroup.com

PHJ | Mirrors

The Bathrooms to Love brand by PJH has a new range of mirrors. The collection has more than 50 new models with various types and features, including LED, brushed brass, matt black, battery- operated and mirrored cabinet designs. The mirrors are said to be the perfect finishing touch and, with the extended portfolio, present new add-on sales opportunities for retailers. Tel: 0800 877 8899 www.partners.pjh.uk
