Project cost: £9,500 Cost includes: VAT, installation Brief: Another big test for Shehryar – designing the downstairs bathroom in his family home. The aim was to turn this narrow space into a fun yet practical bathroom. They wanted a shower area, toilet and a basin, without cluttering the space. Lighting was also key.
Project cost: £7,063 Cost includes: VAT Brief: The flow between the bedroom, en-suite and dressing room was really important here. Smooth shapes, seamless edges and soft tones were suggested. The clients wanted any storage to be hidden away and they wanted a natural finish that linked in with the style of the rest of the home.
Project cost: £9,053 Cost includes: VAT Brief: A simple but specific brief – to create a ‘pretty’ and ‘on-trend’ bathroom with a high-end finish. They also wanted a functional, light and airy space. The original bathroom featured a bath with a hand-held shower, but the clients specifically wanted a separate bath and walk-in shower.

Shehryar Khan Sheraton Interiors, Twickenham
Project cost: £22,000 Cost includes: VAT, installation, building work Brief: The brief was to create a scheme that had the simplicity of Scandinavian and Japanese finishes for a forward-thinking client who wanted something new and imaginative. Project cost: £12,800 Cost includes: VAT Brief: The client was a bachelor in a townhouse who wanted a design that was clean with a modern edge and the wow factor. For him, that was about creating a calm space to relax in. The walls were finished in a soft concrete with a wave-like texture. The lighting adds to the spa-like feel.

Timothy Baber Eighty2, Bristol
Project cost: £26,500 Cost includes: VAT Brief: This hotel-like en-suite was for a couple in their 50’s. The relaxing bath area is separate from the more practical shower, basin, and WC area. The bathroom mixes textures and finishes with black brassware and shower screen, and brown veined marble that matches the wood effect porcelain panels.
Owen Redpath Redpath Kitchens and Bathrooms, Musselburgh
Project cost: £26,013 Cost includes: Installation Brief: The clients wanted to retain the existing floor plan but update the rest of the space. A bespoke shower enclosure was created with a door and a recessed niche for shower products. The rest of the bathroom is light and airy, and the opulent mosaic tiles give a pop of colour of rose gold.
Elliott Risden-Stapley Opus Bathrooms, Brighton
Project cost: £33,187 Cost includes: Installation, building work Brief: The client wanted their gloomy, old-fashioned bathroom transformed into a spa-like space. There needed to be specific zones in the en-suite separating the bath and the bespoke shower enclosure. The double vanity was handmade in a classic shaker style.
