Project cost: £21,650 Cost includes: VAT, installation, appliances Brief: Diane’s clients wanted a stylish, functional, yet low maintenance kitchen that would help lighten up their terraced house. Project cost: £29,286 Cost includes: VAT and appliances Brief: The couple live in a mid-century terraced house in the west of Edinburgh. They wanted a minimal design where they could display personal items and hide certain elements of the kitchen, such as the ovens, so that it would work with the rest of the open-plan space.
Project cost: £24,000 Cost includes: VAT Brief: This retired couple were looking for a frameless shaker-style kitchen in a dark painted finish. They wanted a seamless look throughout the space and wanted a seating area around the island. They also requested a floating shelf behind the sink as well as a ‘secret door’ to access the utility room.
Project cost: £11,750 Cost includes: Appliances Brief: The clients – the owners of the House of Hackney brand – wanted to work with a designer with a sustainable ethos and love of British-made design, on a kitchen that would be sympathetic to their period property.
