PCR for a powerful machine with heavy-duty construction that was very easy to maintain. With PCR often being very abrasive (due to contamina- tion), blades can degrade more quickly than in equipment handling cleaner processing waste; damage can also occur to the structure of the machine itself. For this reason, the cutting chamber on the Easy Power is lined with wear-resistant but replaceable metal sheets that preserve the grind- er’s integrity. Bruno Folcieri also offers the Top Line series, which incorporates a rotor built from a single block of forged steel. Zoppi says the rotor is “super wear-resistant and reliable.” Models are aimed at particularly intensive applications such as grinding heavy pieces, hard fibres, and extremely thin film or simply large quantities of material. Easy Power and Top Line granulators are both available in “dry” and “wet” versions, which combine grinding with pre-washing of the material in a single step, allowing a considerable proportion of impurities to be removed. A third range, HF, is a one-step system for pipes and profiles of large diameter and high thickness without the need for pre-shredding.
