Injection moulding machine manufacturer Engel has opened a competence centre for MuCell structural foam moulding at its site in Stuttgart, Germany. Lukas Neunzig has been named MuCell technology expert for the site, after working in the same field at the headquar-

Engel imports MuCell systems on behalf of its customers and manages the integration of the controls and safety aspects into the injection moulding machine for ease of implementation. This technology is also available at Engel sites in the US and China. Separately, Engel has opened a 3,000 m² expan- sion at its Shanghai plant, ten years after it first began making large Duo machines there. This is the second major expansion at the site after another in 2012. www.engelglobal.com
