Röchling Automotive opens factory in Spain


Germany’s Röchling Automotive has opened its second factory in Spain. Based at a 40,000 m2


site at


Teruel, in Aragon, eastern Spain, this will make high-tech plastic parts and components for the local automotive industry that its existing site at Álava in the Basque Country is no longer able to do. Production is running in a hall, with a 4,600

Omnium divests


Plastic Omnium has announced a plan to sell its Environment division in order to focus exclu- sively on its automotive operations. The Environment division is one of Plastic Omnium’s original businesses and has sales of about €330m/year, 4% of the group total.
