BRANDS WITH A PURPOSE

community our partners in the

During these unprecedented times, the brands you know and love

stepped up to the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic. They increased production, honored frontline workers and gave back to those hit the hardest. A special thank you to our partners in the community.

PRIORITIZING OUR HEROES

Our purpose is to empower people to snack right. Providing the right snack, for the right moment, made the right way. We lived our purpose through the pandemic by maintaining essential food supply and supporting our frontline heroes with PPE and cleaning supplies, so they could continue to bake, distribute and stock the shelves. We also supported our communities through over $25M donations to beneficiaries such as Feeding America, Save the Children and the American Red Cross among others around the world.

Unilever, the maker of brands like Dove, Hellmann’s and Knorr, is committed to ensuring that Americans can continue to thrive now and in the future. In 2020, Unilever made a long-term commitment to serve both the essential organizations on the front lines and the individuals, families and vulnerable populations affected most by the COVID-19 pandemic.

FIGHTING A PANDEMIC TOGETHER

United for America started out as Unilever’s movement to help deliver food, medical supplies, hygiene products, and other critical supplies to organizations on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. In March, Unilever US announced a donation of more than $20 million worth of products, services and financial support for Americans in need through organizations such as Direct Relief and Feeding America, along with other efforts including a donation of more than 200,000 masks to local New Jersey hospitals.

Now, United for America is working to support communities where vulnerable populations including cash-strapped families, women, and black and Latino populations that have been hit hardest by COVID-19 to help them recover, rebuild, and reimagine their futures.
