Page 61 Kaman Offers Non-Contact Displacement Sensors
MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Measuring Division of Kaman Precision Products is now offer- ing its advanced magnetic sens- ing (AMS) family of high-preci- sion non-contact displacement sensors, specifically designed for
preventing unplanned downtime due to unexpected failures in industrial operations. The sen- sors are also well-suited for non- contact speed sensing, shaft runout, and gear tooth condition monitoring, as well as surface finish thickness inspection and crack and defect detection. A key advantage of Kaman’s AMS sensors is their non-contact measurement capability, which minimizes wear and extends sen- sor life in industrial environ-
ments. In addition, these sensors offer multiple output options, including 0 to 10 VDC, 0 to 5 VDC, and 4 to 20 mA, making them compatible with a wide range of industrial control sys- tems. The sensors can be easily customized to meet specific OEM integration requirements, ensur- ing adaptability to various indus- trial applications and machinery. Designed to withstand de -
manding industrial conditions, the AMS sensors are IP67-rated
and available with a variety of hermetic options. They come in standard configurations, includ- ing threaded, flanged, AS4320 pressure port compatible, and bolt head styles, and can be tai- lored to semi-custom and custom
OEM integration needs. Contact: Kaman Precision

industrial condition monitoring. These sensors are engineered to deliver high precision with root mean square (RMS) resolution down to 1 micron, providing accurate measurements essen- tial for monitoring machinery conditions in various industrial settings.
Kaman’s AMS sensors sig-
nificantly enhance condition monitoring systems by accurate- ly measuring and monitoring runout, speed, and changes in machine vibration profiles. This capability is crucial for reducing risk, minimizing damage, and
SKOVLUNDE, DENMARK — NeoCortec’s ultra low power and scalable wireless mesh network- ing protocol, NeoMesh, is avail- able for both 2.4 GHz as well as sub 1 GHz frequency bands in a series of pre-approved modules. The modules are ideally suited for a broad range of applications, cost efficient and easy to inte- grate into the target product. The modules share the same footprint, which means there is no need to change the target product to support the full range of frequency bands. The NeoMesh wireless mesh
networking protocol and software stack supports many different sensor types and applications as
