BESIGHEIM, GERMANY — Weller is launching a special black edition of the WE1010 sol- dering station and the ZeroSmog Shield fume extraction system, celebrating eight decades of in- novation and progress in solder- ing solutions for both enthusi- asts and professionals. In honor of its 80th anniver-
sary, Weller introduces the spe- cial black edition of the WE1010 soldering station and the ZeroS- mog Shield fume extraction sys- tem. The black design is a nod to the original Weller devices, which were initially made of black bakelite before later switching to ESD-safe plastics. The ZeroSmog Shield is en-
gineered to complement Weller’s soldering stations by providing
high-efficiency fume extraction, ensuring a cleaner, safer work environment for soldering pro- fessionals.

Emil Otto Presents New Flux Removers
ELTVILLE, GERMANY — Emil Otto is introducing two new in- novative products to the market that have been approved by lead- ing electronics manufacturers. Etimol DFX 82 RAN is a
neutral, solvent- and water- based cleaning agent developed for the automatic and manual re- moval of flux and paste residues in electronic processes. In addi- tion to the solvent-water basis, which achieves good drying prop- erties, the cleaner has been for- mulated with special organic ad- ditives. Flammable and haz- ardous solvents have been avoid- ed. With the high flash point re- sulting from the formulation, the cleaner guarantees a high degree of occupational safety.
Etimol DFX 83 RSN is a sol-
vent-based cleaning agent that has also been developed for the manual and automatic removal of flux and paste residues. The Eti- mol DFX 83 RSN is a neutral elec- tronics cleaner formulated on a water-free solvent basis with spe- cial organic additives. The cleaner has excellent drying properties.
