PRODUCTS & SERVICES Amtico

Amtico staged a triumphant return to this year’s Harrogate Flooring Show, with an exclusive preview of their new designs.

Garnering huge amounts of praise, the stand and new products were greatly received by the 3,000+ visitors in attendance, with a record number of POS stands sold during the event.

The stand design showcased Amtico’s product versatility and suitability for a number of flooring needs within the home. The kitchen featured new laying patterns from the brands flagship Designers Choice collection, including Castel Weave, French Weave and Muralist, whilst the bedroom and bathroom featured Amtico’s recently launched Form. The hallway was designed to create a lasting first impression, with the striking Corona Mono design from Amtico Décor chosen to demonstrate what can be achieved with LVT.

The highlight of the stand was the preview of Amtico’s new Spacia

Lano

Retailers were treated to an industry first at The Flooring Show in Harrogate this September, as Lano unveiled its breakthrough Cashmere and Cashmere Luxe collections to the trade at large.

Both collections are made using Lano’s revolutionary new Halcyon fibre, which offers the stain resistance and low maintenance of polypropylene, but the sumptuous look and feel of nylon.

Gary Alp, Lano Carpets’ UK Sales Manager, said: “We have been looking forward to getting to Harrogate and introducing Halcyon to the wider trade.

“This new fibre raises the stakes as it bridges the gap to the look of nylon velvet with the value and stain- resistant performance of polypropylene. This means both our Cashmere and Cashmere Luxe collections offer the beautiful silk look that consumers are looking for, in conjunction with a wealth of practical advantages.”

It has been an incredible year for Lano, involving the launch of several brand-

designs. 12 new Woods, 4 new Stones and 13 new Abstracts were displayed on a magnificent new Spacia POS stand, which will be displayed by retailers from January 2018.

Demonstrating the company’s commitment to nurturing British design and manufacturing talent, combined with a long history of creating beautifully functional flooring, Amtico’s stand showcased why they are one of the UK’s favourite flooring companies.

new products, and the company’s stand was understandably one of the busiest at the show. While Halcyon fibre drew retailers keen to see its luxurious texture for themselves, other attractions included another recent innovation, the fabulously indulgent Fairfield Heaven. A plush 65oz twist style made with super-soft Eccelena fibre that sits within Lano’s Touchdown Premium portfolio of stain- and fade-resistant styles, Fairfield Heaven is aimed at homeowners who want luxurious carpet without a hefty price tag.

Also causing much interest was the Venice Tartan Collection, a new addition to the company’s already popular Venice Wilton portfolio, which revitalises the timeless plaid design in a range of contemporary, on-trend colourways.

Gary continued: “What makes our Venice Tartan so different is the level of detail we’ve applied to the design.

“It’s one of the most intricate plaids available, which we’ve achieved by using 1,000,000 points per square metre, it looks absolutely stunning. Because

the carpet is crafted from Lanoset polypropylene, it is incredibly resilient and hardwearing, making it a fantastic choice for commercial applications as well as domestic interiors.”

Lano also showcased its in-demand Touch of Luxury collection, which has redefined the market’s understanding of luxury carpet through its innovative use of different fibres, from SmartStrand to Nylon and Bamboo.

Head of UK Residential Sales & UK Sales Operations, Danny Hugo, said: “We are incredibly proud of the new collections that the Amtico team have developed, and the Harrogate Flooring Show was the ideal place to launch.

“We have been overwhelmed with the response so far, and we are sure the new Spacia collection in particular will be a huge success.”
