Flair Rugs Hall 7, Stand C38
For the first time in its history, Flair Rugs is exhibiting at Domotex, as it looks to answer strong demand for its rugs.
Presenting a mix of its design-led collections, including the inspirational Luxmi collection featuring rugs inspired by the V&A; as well as core ranges and Euro-centric styles from the value- driven Simplicity; the stand marks a significant move for the supplier.
Providing visitors to the exhibition with a broad overview of the qualities available from Flair Rugs, the show will draw focus on selected styles that the supplier sees as appealing to a European audience. These include the outdoor- ready Florence, flatweave Verona and the bold and colourful Infinite collection. Alongside, Flair will also demonstrate its ability to create premium styles in the hand-tufted Soho, exquisite Alpaca and the series of Art Deco and Arts & Crafts designs found in the V&A collection.
Sinead Donohoe, Head of Marketing, said: “Europe represents a fantastic
opportunity for us and Domotex is a key platform.
“While our ranges have been developed with UK homes in mind, the continued globalisation of trends means there is a good degree of relevance to make many of our styles just as perfect for homes in the Benelux, Germany, France and further afield. The strength of British design in rugs such as Splinter and Blossom will help to differentiate and strengthen our brand’s appeal yet further and we look forward to beginning relationships across the region.”
Flair Rugs will use Domotex to present a new look for its brand with a clean and contemporary feel for the stand that will provide the perfect visual backdrop for its extraordinary rug designs.

Granorte Hall 12, Stand B18
Granorte is exhibiting at the Domotex flooring fair with a stand inspired by the Portuguese National Pavilion built for the 1998 World Exhibition in Lisbon.
Created by famed Italian interior designer, Marco Carini, the Granorte stand pays homage to the Alvaro Siza-designed building and will house a refreshed, more compact collection for 2018. The space will also present a brand new corporate identity for the cork innovator, as well as provide the platform for launch of a special flooring collection featuring a super-thin Japanese-made polymer film.
Named after the Japanese word meaning healthy, kenko, the collection utilises this 0.25mm thick polymer to provide a durable and easy to maintain wear layer on Granorte engineered cork flooring. PVC and plasticiser free, the use of the polymer marks

Granorte’s continued resolve in reducing reliance on plastics.
Paulo Rocha, R&D at Granorte, said: “This year’s Domotex is a significant one for us.
“Not only for the unveiling of our new look, but also for a significant step-forward in product technology with the introduction of KENKO. Waste plastic is rapidly filling landfill and toxifying our oceans, presenting increasing hazard to the natural world, so we are determined to do everything we can to reduce our reliance on it in Granorte flooring products. Developed in Japan, this new polymer helps KENKO to use 10-times less plastic than equivalent vinyl/HDF floors; a significant reduction without any adverse effect on the performance of the floor.”
The synergy between this innovative polymer and cork is an elegant one, cork itself a sustainable, renewable resource that provides interior spaces with a quiet, comfortable and durable surface. Using the latest production,
Granorte has an extensive portfolio that sees cork used to provide specific performance sets, as well as a beautiful and unmistakable natural aesthetic.
Covered from floor to ceiling in cork, Granorte’s impressive 104m2
stand is
set to make a big impression on this January’s show. The innovator is looking forward to welcoming trade visitors from across Europe to discover just how cork can play an increasingly significant role as a sustainable, high-performance, design-centric floor.
