WHAT’S NEW? Northwood’s North Shore

Makes Waves in Amsterdam Interclean 2018 provided the platform for Northwood to launch its brand new dispenser range North Shore and judging by the reception it received at the Exhibition from end users and distributors, it is going to be a major success in the marketplace.

Total Motion Named in LSEG’s ‘1000 Companies To

Inspire Britain’ Leicester-based fleet management and leasing company Total Motion is celebrating a hat trick after being named among the top “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain” by the London Stock Exchange Group for the third year running.

The award-winning business features in the LSEG’s 2018 annual report which recognises the fastest-growing and dynamic SMEs across all regions and multiple industry sectors in the UK and Europe.

As well as identifying the top 1000 companies, the report also examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the British and European economies.

Simon Hill, Managing Director of Total Motion, said: “Being in the Top 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain for the third successive year is a huge achievement. Our inclusion in the report is a great compliment and it reflects our commitment to customer service and innovation within the fleet management and leasing industry. It also recognises our employees’ hard work in helping us grow the business.”

Nikhil Rathi, CEO of London Stock Exchange said it was agreed by policymakers of all political persuasions that SMEs were the heartbeat of the UK’s economy; driving jobs and growth.

In the report’s foreword he said: “Their dynamism plays a huge part in the UK’s ability to innovate and

export, and, in doing so, creates high quality jobs for the next generation, while addressing stubborn structural economic issues, such as low productivity.”

Total Motion is the largest family run and privately-owned leasing and fleet management provider in

the UK. Recently named Leicester Mercury Business of the Year 2018, the business has doubled its workforce to more than 80 in the past two years, and last summer saw its fleet of managed and funded vehicles pass the 25,000 marks.

As an addition to the existing brand portfolio which also features Leonardo dispensing systems and the stunning Whisper range, North Shore features the Northwood lock out system that is widely regarded as being one of, if not the very best available.

The North Shore range includes the all new Orbit toilet tissue dispenser with its four roll capacity and carousel mechanism. Designed for high traffic washrooms its amazing capacity and controllable sheet length it delivers highly efficient cost in use values as well as striking visual appeal. For smaller venues, there is the side by side dispenser whose compact design and viewing window, is like the Orbit, available in (appropriately!) Ocean Blue, as well as Midnight Black and Ice White.

Hand towel dispensers include a Micro Folded Towel, a mechanical hands free and the fully automatic Hybrid dispenser.

These quality systems can be teamed with the Impressions range of toilet tissue, roll towels and hand towels which feature strong performance with an all-round feel of luxury that enhances any washroom.

The final element in the new range are the soap dispensers which like the recycled paper products carries the hard earned EU Ecolabel Certificate.

As a finalist in the Shropshire Chamber Awards for the Best Manufacturer category and now appearing in the fifth edition of London Stock Exchange Groups 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain report, the future looks exciting for this dynamic group.
