Concern for the environment is at the heart of Bothongo Hygiene Solutions’ Zuppclean and Greenzupp ranges. In recent years, the company has seen and led substantial advancements with many solutions for green cleaning.
The government has published 21 net-zero-related guideline documents, involving consultations, roadmaps, policies, etc, all equating to thousands of pages, all in order to push the business sector in the UK to ensure that we are net-zero by 2050.
The UK is evolving into a common scenario with numerous companies in most trading spaces demanding specific requirements for increased sustainability on their suppliers and customers. Zupp is taking a full part of this drive to be carbon neutral and sustainable without compromise.
CEO of Bothongo Hygiene Solutions, Nick Winstone said: “The UK hosted Cop26 this year in November 2021, at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) in Glasgow. We also really want to support and be a part of helping to protect the planet, in every which way that we can.”

How are we already helping?
The expanding range is people and planet-friendly while ensuring a lasting clean. Zuppclean Eco conforms to the following standards:
• All surfactants and chemicals used in our formulated products are fully biodegradable and comply with EU 2004/648 regulations.
• No Nonyl-Phenyl-Ethoxylates (substances of high concern as defined by EU2006/1907), or chemicals derived from protected or environmentally sensitive botanical species, animal-derived ingredients, are used in our formulated products.
• No chemicals used in our formulated products are knowingly toxic or very toxic to aquatic life. (Class H400).

• Levels of Volatile Organic Compounds present in our formulated products meet the requirements of the “Ecoflower” standard (EU2017/1217).

• We are using post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) which is recycled and recyclable.
