ABOUT THIS PRODUCT...
The Apex Lifts Vertical Transport Masterclass teaches the fundamental principles of lift management and operation, and was designed to increase knowledge and skill within the industry. Developed in 2013, the classes are available to all Apex Lifts clients and off-portfolio companies, and are particularly beneficial for facilities management teams. Apex have delivered the Vertical Transport Masterclass in partnership with BNP Paribas Real Estate (BNPPRE) as part of a long-term sustainable partnership for over 7 years. In addition, we have delivered the masterclass to contracted private and public sector clients, demonstrating the Vertical Transport Masterclass programme is a positive example of the foundations of FM strategy – developing excellent people within a team, working with excellent partners and developing excellent processes.
Apex Lifts are an EAL approved training academy; since 2013 we have implemented innovative processes to tailor and improve overall masterclass delivery, participant satisfaction and were proud to be shortlisted finalists in the PFM Awards 2019. The masterclass provides an open forum to allow site and equipment specific issues to be raised – ensuring tailored key issues and client concerns are addressed. Masterclasses comprise of a strong focus on health and safety principles and outline duty holders, facilities managers (FMs) and non-engineering personnel’s legal responsibilities. A range of VT (Vertical Transport) topics are provided such as; lift control systems, safety systems, component operating principles and a comprehensive guide to working collaboratively regarding overarching lift management.
VT Masterclass training emphasises our commitment to knowledge sharing and maximising the service levels offered to our mutual clients and off-portfolio organisations – benefiting all with service delivery excellence within industry, through employee knowledge and competency.
The masterclass eliminates the requirement of extensive and individual training costs and focuses on cost-efficient education.
