The SafeCount system from Irisys is a real-time, automated, occupancy monitoring solution. Rapidly developed at the start of the pandemic, the benefits and uses of SafeCount have evolved over the past year – transitioning from measuring and controlling occupancy levels for social distancing, to enabling a safe return to the workplace and providing employees with peace of mind.

Leveraging Irisys’ 25 years of people counting experience, SafeCount uses highly accurate and intelligent IoT sensors to anonymously count people as they enter or exit an area. These sensors are discreetly mounted on the ceiling and only need to be installed at the entry and exit points to the area – minimising costs and simplifying setup. Display screens and other signage can connect to these sensors and display the live occupancy or capacity warning messages to building users.
