BFG Launches National Campaign To Attract Youth To Cleaning And FM Sectors
With fears of an ageing workforce and impending skills gap gripping the sector, T he Building F utures
G roup ( BF G ) has launched a national campaign with the aim of attracting young people to the cleaning and facilities management sectors his driv e has the intention of inspiring more people to consider cleaning and facilities management as a long- term career option, showcasing the career progression opportunities and attractive salaries available
O ften referred to as the ‘ secret sector’, worth at least £ 7 0 b illion per year to the economy, the campaign serv es to highlight the detrimental effect that the entire economy could ex perience ithout such vital services Sarah Bentley, CE O of T he BF G , ex plained:
