How would you improve the cleaning industry?
I think contractors must focus on the quality of the serv ice they prov ide customers and look at how innov ativ e
I T solutions can enhance their performance We talk to so many contractors who don’t hav e a time recording system in place, who rely on manual timesheets and simply leav e their remote workers to ‘ get on ith the ob emote orkers are ex posed to risks in their daily roles and contractors must demonstrate their duty of care and compliance to health and safety regulations Contractors in the industry hav e an opportunity to raise their standards even more in this area

If an intern were to start tomorrow, what’s the
one piece of advice you would give them?
A career in sales is all ab out hav ing ex cellent communication skills and dev eloping close long-standing relationships ith your clients personal approach is always the most effectiv e!
What do you do to unwind?
S pend time with my family, although I wouldn’t say that it is always relax ing!

I think the contract cleaning industry can look forward to increased growth in the coming years he opportunity for fresh growth will mean it is important for contractors to gain a competitiv e edge and support their customer base

What innovations do you think will be
introduced within the cleaning industry over the next few years?
T he cleaning industry has really started to emb race technology; we’re currently dev eloping a new terminal which will b e ready for launch later in the year Were keeping its key features under wraps at the moment,
b ut it will certainly enhance how contractors can collate staff data from remote sites and improv e their efciency, so atch this space
