Churchill secures Merrion Centre contract
Churchill Group has secured a cleaning contract to support the Merrion Shopping Centre, owned by leading property development and investment company Town Centre Securities (TCS).
The three-year contract, which commenced on 7 August, has seen the companies partner to provide a safe, clean environment for the 9m+ internal visitors per annum.
Churchill is now providing comprehensive cleaning services for the 1m sq ft shopping centre, which is located in the Arena Quarter in the heart of Leeds. The centre, which was originally built in the 1960s, has seen continuous investment and remains one of the city’s leading shopping and entertainment destinations.
20 Churchill cleaning colleagues now provide day and night cleaning across the mixed-use office and public areas. Churchill was chosen for its high-quality services and emphasis on sustainable solutions, including the removal of single use plastics and sustainably-sourced uniforms which help further lower the centre’s carbon footprint.
