UNIQUE IQ

STAND: F01 Redditch-based technology firm, Unique IQ, will exhibit its award-winning IQ:timecard software at the Manchester Cleaning Show.

More than just a time and attendance system, IQ:timecard gives cleaning companies a real-time overview of their remote workforce. By utilising a mobile app or landline to clock in and out, businesses can accurately timestamp when their staff are on-site, with notifications alerting of a late or missed shift.

An in-built dashboard provides insight into service delivery and productivity. Performance data such as call volumes and over-worked hours are visually presented within the IQ:timecard portal, while a live status map displays the locations of remote staff, helping to protect lone workers.

IQ:timecard won ‘Innovation of the Year’ at the North Worcestershire Business Awards in November, with Unique IQ also named Birmingham’s ‘Business of the Year’. It was also shortlisted as a top product of the year in the 2020 Tomorrow’s Cleaning Awards.

Unique IQ Managing Director, David Lynes, said: “We’re looking forward to showcasing IQ:timecard at the Manchester Cleaning Show, as well as meeting lots of new faces. We feel that the real-time insight that IQ:timecard provides truly sets us apart and we’re excited to give people a taster of that at the show.”

Juliet Booker of CCS Cleaning added: “The system enables us to know exactly where our cleaners are, when they have clocked in and out, and helps to track their wages as well as ensuring lone worker safety. We tell prospect clients a lot about IQ:timecard; they are very impressed when we describe how we track our cleaners through the app, it gives further support that the service they are paying for has been completed as required.”

performance using minimal resources. This reduces the volume of plastic used, and cuts carbon emissions during production and transportation. Cromwell is also the sole UK distributor for compostable bags made from Ecopond biodegradable resin, and has a free, used polythene recovery service to aid resource efficiency.

The company is a founding member of the CHSA’s Accreditation Scheme for Plastic Refuse Sacks, supports WRAP’s UK Plastics Pact, and works closely with its customers across all sectors so that they can make informed decisions on the most appropriate products for their needs.

James Lee, Managing Director of Cromwell Polythene, said: “There is a growing demand for responsible products, which not only meet our waste and recycling challenges, but also help combat climate change. This is also a key time in the UK as the Government sets out its Environment Bill, outlining its vision for a greener future.”
