Editor’s Voice With a bitterly cold snap we’ve arrived in the final few weeks of 2023, and attentions are

firmly focused on what’s next for the cleaning and hygiene market. We’re going to end up with a chilly start to 2024 but things are soon going to heat up as the industry prepares

for the Manchester Cleaning Show in March and Interclean Amsterdam in May – it really doesn’t feel like it’s been over 18 months since the 2022 editions.

In this December issue of Tomorrow’s Cleaning, we take a special look at Paper and Disposables, with the European Tissue Symposium teaching us more about the

sustainable benefits of tissue paper and why it’s the smart choice. Lee Radzki from Essity discusses how people tend to use more disposables around the Christmas period and

how venues can reduce consumption, while Northwood’s Paul Mulready emphasises the importance of the right paper in the washroom to reduce infections.

Also, in our Commercial Laundry feature, Miele Professional’s Nicky Whittaker explains how commercial equipment can uphold high-quality laundry processes, and we

also learn about Delphis Eco’s new ‘Power’ Non-Bio Laundry Powder. In our Waste Management focus, we learn more about B-Sure Recycling’s complete recycling solution for business waste.

We also find out the nominees for the Kimberly-Clark Professional Golden Service Awards, which takes place on 23 May 2024 in London, and its new host Hugh Dennis.

We also hear from WCEC Senior Warden, Lorraine Larman, who tells us why training and technology will help the cleaning industry avoid stagnation and evolve.

Thank you very much for reading, and I hope you enjoy the issue!
